Rockin’ Rhythms
The fan-favorite bucket drumming camp is back!
Let’s learn some new grooves together! Feeling and understanding rhythm is such an important part of musicianship. When we can have fun doing it, we learn it even better!
Each day of camp, we’ll learn a new groove and apply it to a piece of music. We will also use other percussive instruments to add interest and cool sounds to our daily piece. Djembes, bongos, guiros, triangles, tambourines, claves, maracas…how many instruments will be you able to play by the end of camp?
Registration opens April 1st!
Musical S.T.E.M.: Finding harmony between music and science
The emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and math has seen a tremendous rise in recent years, and for good reason. More than ever before, our kids need to be equipped with these skills to be competitive in the job market.
So how does music fit into tech?
This camp will help your child explore two worlds that they enjoy and create a bridge between the two.
Scientific concepts like patterns, vibrations, bending, and dissonance will be introduced via a science experiment, one each day. Then we’ll look at how that same concept can be applied to music and will learn a song that illustrates that concept, one each day.
The result will be magnificent learning that makes sense in both the S.T.E.M. arena and the Arts arena!
